NHS Treatments

We are pleased to offer NHS dentistry at our practice, providing a range of standard NHS treatments at a reasonable cost. These treatments are designed to provide a good level of oral health and hygiene and basic dental care but, are generally not cosmetic treatments. Patient charges for the NHS dental treatment within Scotland are regulated by the government. NHS dental examinations are free to ALL patients.

NHS Treatment Fees

The exact cost of a filling or a denture or a crown etc will depend on several factors depending on that particular clinical situation but an approximate guide to the NHS prices are below. All information regarding NHS treatment prices and exemptions you can find here:

We always require payment on the day of treatment. We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards, except American Express.

Anxious or nervous patients
If you haven't seen a dentist for several years because of fear or anxiety, be reassured that you should find the experience more bearable at our practice. Our modern surgery will be a much friendlier environment, with comfortable chairs in the waiting room, a pleasant reception area, and polite staff. The Dentists will also be much more gentle and caring.

Private treatments

At the start of any course of treatment, you will be given a treatment plan and estimated costs. We are always happy to explain what the charges are for. The Private fee for consultation and examination is £50.00 and this doesn’t include treatment costs.

All private prices are estimated and changes might occur.

We offer payment plans and Denplan for longer or more complex treatments. Please ask your dentist for further information.
